There are two main treatment methods in modern hair surgery:
\nFollicular Unit Extraction (FUE) hair transplant and the so-called FUT, suitable for large sessions.
\nFUE is a truly revolutionary hair surgery method. Not only does the result in the transplanted areas look completely natural, even on close inspection, but no traces are visible in the area where the hair was removed. Scar tissue formation is both minimal and invisible to the naked eye.
\nThe procedure occurs without a scalpel or sutures.<\/p>\n
In contrast, FUT is suitable for the redistribution of over 3000 so-called follicular units in a single session. FUT is still considered as the state of the art, the best choice according to current scientific knowledge.
\nIn FUT a strip of skin about 1,5 cm wide and up to 30 cm in length, is removed surgically from the back of the head, the donor area. This procedure takes place under local anaesthesia and is completely painless.
\nThe skin is prepared with the aid of microscopes, singling out small grafts, each containing a follicular unit with 1, 2 or 3 hairs.
